1934. On the day of the Assumption of the Mother of God, I did not assist at Holy Mass. The woman doctor [80] did not allow me; but I prayed fervently in my cell. After a short time, I saw the Mother of God, unspeakably beautiful. She said to me, My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. For nine days receive Holy Communion in atonement and unite yourself closely to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer.

2018 DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY CELEBRATION IN ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

CHAPLET OF THE DIVINE MERCY

You are all invited to the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, every 2nd Sunday of the month, at the holy hour between 3 pm and 4pm at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, at 14 Barker Road, Prospect. This special function will also include the Benediction and the sacrament of confession.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

You are invited to come every Wednesday night, between 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm at the Church of St. Lawrence at 134 Buxton Street, North Adelaide for the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, which includes the Benedection. 

During this time, the sacrament of confession will be also available.

Divine Mercy Sunday Festivity at Hectorville instead of Newton

20/11/2016 END OF THE JUBILEE YEAR OF DIVINE MERCY

The Annunciation Church, 20 Montacute, Hectorville

The 20th of November 2016, the feast of Christ the King, marks the end of the jubilee year of Mercy.

The Northern Eastern Deanery will be having a grand celebration at the Annunciation Church, 20 Montacute Road, Hectoville, in South Australia.

Here is the program:

2pm:  Confessions and Holy Hour

3pm:  Holy Mass celebrated by the Archbishop Philip

4pm:  Procession with the Blessed Sacrament (at the street surrounding the church), concluding with the Benediction back at the Church.

4.45pm:  BBQ 

Special Event on Friday, 23 September 2016

There would be a special evening at the Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Unley (Church of the Resurrection, see picture below) on Friday, 23 September 2016, starting at 6 pm, celebrated by Rev. Father Gregory.

The program is as follows:

6 pm:  Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy

7 pm:  Holy Mass

8 pm:  Cenacle of the Divine Mercy at the community room, at the back of the Church.

The Members of the Cenacles of the Divine Mercy of Prospect and Newton will be there.
